East Coast Fertility Continues to Offer High Quality Care with Addition of Dr. Jessica Salas Mann to its Medical Team

With the recent addition of Jessica Salas Mann, MD, FACOG to their medical staff, ECF has raised the bar again, offering their patients a bilingual, female doctor that is highly respected in the field of reproductive medicine.
Dr Mann was born in Lima, Peru and is fluent in Spanish. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry, Cum Laude, from Florida International University in Miami, Florida and received her medical degree from the University of Florida School of Medicine. While studying, she was a member and officer of the local chapter of the American Medical Women?s Association, and was awarded an internship at The M.D. Anderson Cancer Center where she investigated neoadjuvant chemotherapy as treatment for early stage breast cancer. She completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Connecticut and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and board eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr Mann pursued a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU/Bellevue Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Mann has dedicated her time to studying the events associated with cytoplasmic human oocyte maturation of both in vivo matured as well as in vitro matured oocytes stimulation protocols of poor responders during fertility treatments. She has also researched the utilization of single embryo transfer(SET), which ECF is well known for. Her areas of clinical interest and expertise include recurrent pregnancy loss, ovulation induction, in vitro fertilization, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and third party reproduction.
Dr. Mann?s research has not gone unnoticed. She was awarded Outstanding Resident Paper by the New York Obstetrical Society for her research on Early Serum hCG and In vitro Fertilization. She has published articles in peer review journals and has presented her research at numerous conferences of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Gynecologic Investigation. During her residency, she volunteered multiple lectures in Spanish as part of the Latina SHARE series (Self-help for Women with Breast or Ovarian Cancer) to provide support and understanding to Spanish-speaking patients.
